A great Annapurna Sanctuary- Jomsom Trekking

Feb 20, 2015

In April 2009 we organized a 3 week holiday with "Mountain Sherpa Trekking" to the Annapurna sanctuary and the Jomsom Trek with sightseeing in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Pasang was fantastic in organizing our trip and tailoring it to our needs.  Our guide - Kitemba Sherpa was very experienced and looked after us in every possible way. He and his porter were great fun to travel with. We did not know Pasang agency before we found it on the web - the booking and payment arrangements were uncomplicated and safe - the trip was exactly what we hoped for.  Thank you again for making our holiday such an unforgettable experience! Thank you, Hans Hollerer Australia

Our best of Nepal Trip- wonderful experience

Our trip was booked through and arranged by the fine people at Mountain Sherpa Trekking & Expeditions. Our itinerary included 3 days in and around Kathmandu, the 6-day trek, 2 days rafting on the Seti River and 3 days on an elephant safari in Chitwan national park - all highly recommended. Mr. Pasang Sherpa made all the arrangements and Mr. Sumba Sherpa looked after us faultlessly for the two and a half weeks of our stay. We highly recommend this tour for all who wants to see Nepal well.    .During the many chats we had, while Anne and Kevin toiled (and Sumba skipped) up hills and down dales, Sumba let it slip that, in addition to speaking excellent English, he also spoke a little French. Nepal is a popular destination for our European neighbors and, if you want business as a guide, you need to speak the lingo. As it turned out Sumba spoke really rather good French but he was unaware of the most important communication tool in the French language. So, without further ado, we launched into Gallic Shrugging lessons. A very quick learner, Sumba was soon a shrugging master.     By the end of the trek, we were a fair bit fitter, in awe of the Nepalese great outdoors, charmed by the Nepalese people and, if truth be told, a bit smelly.     Would we have changed anything?   No.   Would we do it again?   Yes indeed. Maybe in spring when the rhododendron forests are in bloom.  Would we recommend it to others?   Absolutely and without hesitation.    Best regards,  Kevin Laxton & Anne Tyrrell  7 Mortimer Hall  The Street  Mortimer  Reading  RG7 3NS  United Kingdom

Great Annapurna Base Camp Trek

We used your Mountain Sherpa Trekking and Expeditions service for our ABC trek last November. It has been a wonderful experience. I must say that our group left Nepal and our friends with a heavy heart. The scenery, the friendly villagers; and your professional yet friendly guide and porters made our trip a memorable one.  The majesty of the snow peaks, the sunrise and sunsets against those beautiful peaks and the crisp fresh air for two weeks were just awesome. We enjoyed the selection of the various guesthouses too and especially the often-repeated menu, it made us laugh. We can practically order our food without looking at them after a few days but we do enjoy that too. As Malaysians, we were very happy to find noodles and rice on the mountains!   Your guide (Phurba Sherpa) and the porters (Kaji Karki and Yogen Limbu) were fun to be with. They were caring, professional and above all, they were enthusiastic about the whole adventure. It made a lot of difference to our experience on this beautiful mountain trek. I do look forward to seeing Nepal again soon. Thanks

"I was very blessed to be able to take part in three weeks of breathtaking trekking through the Khumbu valley in the Sagarmatha National Park, Nepal. It was my first experience, yet i hope to go back with friends of mine to share with them the beauty and ruggedness of this region, the challenge of the trekking and the adventure involved. However, the trip in its entirety would not have been nearly as successful without the invaluable experience of Mountain Sherpa Trekking and expeditions. Our guides (Sherpas) were helpful, friendly and polite and ensured smooth and efficient organization, extending from the booking of inland flights to the securing of "tea-house" accommodation!   I look forward to returning to Nepal, to seeing the extremes in beauty of Gods creation! I look forward as well to seeing good friends again, as Tandi and Sumba (our Sherpa guides) was very kind and easy to be with, fun and down-to-earth. My next trip will be organized through Mountain Sherpa Trekking and Expeditions, as reliability, know-how and experience are essential characteristics for extreme trekking tours through the Khumbu valley."
