Pemba was born and raised in Ward No. 4 of Mapya Dudhkoshi Rural Municipality in lower Solu-Khumbu — a region deeply woven into the history and spirit of Himalayan trekking. Growing up in the shadow of some of the world's greatest peaks, he developed an intimate understanding of mountain terrain, weather patterns, and Sherpa culture that no classroom could ever teach. This is knowledge passed down through generations, sharpened by a lifetime of living at altitude.
