Pema is a fully licensed guide certified by the Government of Nepal’s Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA). He has also completed first aid and emergency response training at Karuna Hospital and through the Trekking Guide Association of Nepal (TGAN), leadership development with KEEP, Buddhist education with TGAN, and specialized courses in mountain weather forecasting, GPS, and map reading through NTB and UNDP.
