Mingmar Dorjee Sherpa's journey in the mountains is one of true dedication and heart. Born in the serene and beautiful Pattale Village in Solukhumbu — nestled at 2,840 metres and one of Nepal's most scenic emerging destinations — he began his career as a porter, learning the mountains from the ground up. Through years of hard work, commitment, and an unshakeable love for the Himalayas, he rose to become one of Mountain Sherpa Trekking's most beloved and sought-after senior guides.

With over 17 years of guiding experience, Mingmar has led treks from the far east to the far west of Nepal, and from the subtropical lowlands to the high Himalayan passes. There is virtually no corner of this country he has not explored.
