I will always travel with Mountain Sherpa

I just completed my 3rd Himalayan trek with Mountain Sherpa, the Annapurna circuit and Thorong La pass. At age 66 I did have some trepidation about such an undertaking. The guide and porter were outstanding, which was the same experience on my previous 2 treks with Mountain Sherpa. They were always so solicitous of my comfort and well-being! I lacked for nothing. Thank you so much, Mountain Sherpa, I will keep coming back as long as i can still get up the hill ;-)

Best Annapurna Circuit trek experience with Mountain Sherpa Trekking

We did the Annapurna circuit trek with Mountain Sherpa Trekking & Expeditions. Our guide Lal was so amazing. Lal was so knowledgeable about the history of the Annapurna regions and Annapurna circuit trek- we really learned so much… he also was a very friendly and loyal guide.
When we got to the top of the Thorong La pass, the sun was starting to set on Thorong Peak and it was the most magical moment… the weather could not have been better. The lodge accommodations along the circuit were wonderful. The food was just delightful and hygienic in every lodge during the entire trek. Our Porter Kaji was superhuman.
We can’t thank Lal, Kaji, and the rest of the Mountain Sherpa Trekking & Expeditions team enough for the great friendliness, experience, and memories to last a lifetime. We will be coming back for the Everest base camp trek next year!

This trek is a really beautiful trek and also quite a hard trek. So please be prepared with proper gear especially for the pass.

Hiking from Lower Pisang to Manang was one of the most memorable parts of my trek.

Manaslu circuit trek, trip of a lifetime

I had the pleasure of hiking the Manaslu Trek with Mountain Sherpa Trekking & expeditions and there couldn’t have been a better choice. The trek itinerary was very well designed with enough resting days to acclimatize to the high altitude.
Everything was perfect, the Sherpa guides & porters were really helpful, loyal and always with a smile on their faces.
Special thanks to our Guide! I never thought I would have such a good lodge during the Manaslu trek. The food was always tasty and the service was perfect. Last but not least, our guide Lal was really kind and to be honest I wouldn’t have made it to the end without his help. You can also see how much he loves sharing his culture with you and how much he knows about the history of Nepal.
Although this is quite a hard trek, it has been a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it.

Island Peak- Best climbing experience with Local Sherpa Expert

My friend and I had an incredible peak-climbing expedition on Island Peak. From the airport pickup, the hotel in Kathmandu, the Sherpa guide, Sherpa lodge accommodation, food, and every aspect throughout the trip were excellent. Mountain Sherpa Trekking & Expeditions' planning exceeded our expectations. MSTE did a fantastic job, providing meticulous care throughout the journey. Our Sherpa Guide, Mr. Migmar, was experienced, knowledgeable, and demonstrated excellent guiding skills in the Everest region and on Island Peak.
Island Peak climbing proved to be difficult, challenging, adventurous, and a thrilling experience. The view from the summit was breathtaking. We were fortunate with the weather and had a wonderful time in Nepal. Migmar and the porters went out of their way to assist us during trekking and peak climbing. Great Experience with Mountain Sherpa Trekking

My partner and I were on the fence about taking on Everest high pass trek with cheaper company vs with a local expert Sherpa Company. Going with Mountain Sherpa Trekking & Expeditions was the best move and that's in great part to our amazing Sherpa guide Mr. Lhakpa sona Sherpa. The itinerary of the trek was perfectly designed & allowed for an amazing experience throughout the entirety of the trip without high altitude sickness. The Khumbu Valley and Sherpa culture coupled with Lhakpa sona thoughtful insights and information are well worth the cost. Not having to worry about transport, Hotel in Kathmandu, lodging during trek and everything else freed is to fully be immersed in the experience.
