Volunteer in Everest region of Nepal, the land of the Sherpas, and experience truly warm hospitality of local people and breathtaking views of the Himalayas, while also working to give back to Sherpa community.
The aftermath of the April and May Earthquakes in Nepal saw the rise of Volunteering in Nepal. Mountain Sherpa trekking & Expeditions as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibilities plans to make this Volunteering tourism possible in an organized manner. We have developed the program keeping in mind the maximum benefit be given to the communities and places we visit.
This trip has been designed for those who want to experience the real Nepal. The 28 day trip incorporates the sites of Kathmandu, life in a remote village and the most famous trek in the world.Your time in remote Sherpa village will allow you to live along-side the villagers. You will spend time at a local school, assist the villagers with their work, and experience a lifestyle that is largely untouched by the West.
Jiri to Everest base camp trek cover low land from Jiri to highland Kalapathar(5545m). This is breathtaking walking trip in Everest Region. Trekker requires a good walking experience and a good physical health condition. This trek is very interesting walking with its panoramic view of Everest 8848m, Cho Oyu 8152m, Lhotse 8516m, Makalu 8463m and Ama Dablam 6456m. through the famous Sherpa village of Namche Bazaar, Tengboche Buddhist Monastery, Khunde Khumjung etc. Most people heading to the Solu-Khumbu region are intent only on getting a close-up glimpse of Mount Everest and often take a plane into Lukla. However, the trail from Jiri to Namche, though not long on mountain views, does pass through numerous interesting villages that are now visited by a small number of trekkers each year.
