Prince Harry's Patan Durbar Square visit in photos Mountain Sherpa Admin on 21st Mar, 2016

Mar 20, 2016- British Prince Harry visited Patan Durbar Square on Sunday.

The Panchakanyas (five girls) clad in Newari attire welcomed the Prince when he arrived at the old palace square at 12:20 pm.  Harry observe Taleju Mandir, Krishna Mandir, Char Narayan Mandir, Mul Chowk, Sundari Chowk and the Bhandarkhal garden, among other sites, within the royal palace. His father British Crown Prince Charles had also visited the site in 1982.

Harry enquired about the ongoing reconstruction works in the area after observing temples and other structures damaged by the earthquake.

A huge crowd, including foreign nationals, gathered around the Patan Durbar Square to get a glimpse of the British Royal. Security around the area was heightened since early morning
