Island Peak : Fantastic Climbing experience with Mountain Sherpa Trekking

We had a fantastic experience with Mountain Sherpa Trekking. This company, run by three Sherpa brothers, organized everything for our Island Peak climb, from airport pickups to the best accommodations and expert climbing Sherpa guides. We combined the Everest Base Camp trek with the Island Peak climb, and our Sherpa guide, Mr. Tashi, was exceptional. He took excellent care of us, especially during the challenging climb. Thanks to the well-organized efforts of MSTE and our Sherpa guides, we successfully reached the summit.
After the successful climb, we spent an amazing three nights in Kathmandu, exploring Patan and Bhaktapur. Our tour guide, Sagar, was fantastic and took great care of us. I would highly recommend Mountain Sherpa Trekking to anyone looking to embark on an Island Peak climb or any other adventure trip in Nepal!

Our journey with Mountain Sherpa Trekking & Expeditions was akin to an adventure with dear friends. From the outset, Mr. Pasang Sherpa, through emails and WhatsApp, exuded friendliness and responsiveness, cultivating our trust.
The four-night stay in the Kathmandu hotel arranged by Mountain Sherpa was exceptional—clean, well-equipped, and centrally located. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making our total stay of 4 nights (2 before and 2 after the trip) truly comfortable.
The Mera Peak climbing itinerary crafted by MSTE was well-conceived. Staying 2 nights at Thaknak (altitude: 4,358m/14,297ft) and 2 nights at Khare (altitude: 5,100m/16,728ft) before ascending to High Camp at 5,800m/19,029 feet proved to be a brilliant strategy for acclimatization. Our group felt well-prepared and energized when we reached High Camp.
Our expert Sherpa guides, Migmar and Pemba, alongside our silent hero porter, were unwavering in ensuring our well-being. The Himalayan trail unfolded like a sacred path, marked by outstanding service from Mountain Sherpa Trekking & Expeditions. The trek was made enjoyable with plentiful food and comfortable lodgings, culminating in a special night at High Camp beneath the stars.
The rented sleeping bags provided the perfect cocoon, balancing our needs with the embrace of nature, ensuring warmth throughout the journey. Despite a few headaches, our group, blessed by the mountains, relished the Mera Peak climb.

Our group of 7 Americans, including 2 families, had an incredible experience with Mountain Sherpa Trekking during our Gokyo Valley Trek. The trek was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views, crystal-clear lakes, and a journey through the Khumbu valley and charming Sherpa villages.
The team at Mountain Sherpa Trekking and Expeditions took exceptional care of us. They anticipated and met all our needs, providing outstanding lodges and serving delicious food along the way. Our guide, Migmar Sherpa, ensured we had three hot meals a day with a variety of choices from the lodge menu, making our dining experience delightful.
Migmar Sherpa, our guide, was truly amazing. He guided us every step of the way, offering a wealth of information and always ready with answers to our questions. His positive vibes and motivation kept us going at our own pace, and he was a joy to be around for the entire 10 days. We consider ourselves fortunate to have met and had him as our guide.

We had an incredible time on the Gokyo Trek and would absolutely recommend it. Our guide, Mr. PD Sherpa, felt like a friend, explaining so much to us, and we had a lot of fun together. The food from each lodge along the trek was top-notch – every meal was plentiful and delicious. Everyone who assisted us on the way was amazing and friendly. We saw many different things and learned a lot about Sherpa culture. The trek is beautiful and an awesome adventure. I would do it again, especially with these amazing Sherpa people :) 10 stars for the whole team!
