Itinerary

Our airport representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer to your hotel on a private tourist vehicle.  Check in hotel, get refreshed from long travel. We arrange meeting as per your prefer time and give you full briefing about tour. Evening welcome dinner at Nepali typical restaurant is included.

A.M.: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city including the old Durbar square -protected as an UNESCO world Heritage Site, Old Royal Palace, the Temple of the Living Goddess as well as Kasthamandup - a temple built from a single tree from which the city of Kathmandu derives its name. Swayambhunath - the oldest Buddhist shrine, looking east from here one can see the entire Kathmandu valley spread out below.

P.M.: Sightseeing tour of Pasupatinath Temple - the most sacred of the Hindu temples in Nepal dedicated to Lord Shiva built in 1696. Pasupatinath draws thousands of pilgrims every year and devotees from all over the world. We continue on to Boudhanath - the world's largest stupa, it looms 36 meters high and presents one of the most fascinating specimens of stupa design. Pasupatinath and Boudhanath are also listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We will drive to Airport and fly to Pokhara (a picturesque city with mountains, Caves and Lakes), Transfer to Hotel.

Transfer from Kathmandu to Pokhara 200 Kms/ 6 - 7 hours drive on a private vehicle. Westward, crossing lovely valleys excursion 6 -7hours into the mountains to the Pokhara valley, superb with its emerald lakes and snowy peaks reflecting it neighbors.

Transfer to your hotel and end of the day free. Stroll along Lake Phewa, the street is very lively with souvenir shops and restaurants (good and very affordable).Overnight at the hotel.

Very early in the morning about 40 minutes drive by car from the Sarangkot Mountain (1600m) to attend an extraordinary spectacle: the sunrise over Annapurna and close views of many mountains like Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, including views of the beautiful Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake. After we have some hot drinks at Sarangkot, its 40 minutes drive to the hotel in Pokhara. Return to Hotel for breakfast.The rest of the day sightseeing tour of Pokhara consists of:

Bindhabasini Temple: Lies in the center of the religious old bazaar. It is dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, yet another manifestation of Shakti. The park grounds offer a fine picnic and relaxing area.

Davis fall:Locally known as Patale Chhango and in the southern flank of the Pokhara valley, it is where the stream flowing from Fewa Lake collapses and surges down the rock into a deep gorge, leaping through several potholes. This is hugely popular with tourists and locals alike.
Gupteshwor Cave: The revered Gupteshwor Cave is situated 2 kms from Pokhara airport. The entrance is right across from Davis fall and the cave is almost 3 kms long. It has some big hall-sized rooms and some passages where you have to crawl on all four. This cave holds special value to Hindus since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in the condition it was discovered.

Phewa Lake and Barahi Temple:Situated at an altitude of 800m above sea level, it is the second largest lake in the kingdom. With the Barahi Island Temple in the middle of the lake, it is the most important religious monument in Pokhara. Built almost in the middle of Phewa Lake, this two-storeyed pagoda is dedicated to the female force Shakti. The reflection of Mt. Machhapuchhare and Annapurna can be seen in its serene water. Thick forest lies on the adjoining southern slopes of the lake.

Seti River Gorges: Carved by Seti-Gandaki, it is one of the natural wonders of Pokhara. K.I. Singh bridge at Bagar, Mahendrapool and Prithivi highway Bridge near bus park, provide a perfect view of the river's dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by the turbulent flow of white water.

Tibetan Refugee Camps: The Tibetan village Tashiling in the south and the Tashi Palkhel village in the north of Pokhara are renowned for the production and trade of woolen carpets and other handicrafts. The original Tibetan settlers in this region migrated to Nepal in the ‘50s.Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.

After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu by private vehicle (Possibility of return by flight an extra cost)

After breakfast, we say goodbye to the beautiful city Pokhara and drive towards Kathmandu. This will be a journey along river banks with wonderful views of hills and the rural Nepalese lifestyle. After returning to Kathmandu, you have the afternoon and the evening to stroll along the streets of Kathmandu for some last-minute shopping. There is a farewell dinner in a typical Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances.
